Banks

Banks will not send you emails asking for your personal details. Nor will they send you emails with unsolicited attachments for you to open. Practice safe computing: Use the delete button - Do not open an attachment - Do not respond to the email - Do not visit any web site it suggests. The websites of many banks (below) include a security email address you can send dodgy emails to before deleting. This helps the banks keep up to date with what internet crooks are doing in their name. Sending emails to get hold of your bank details is called phishing, which I suppose is said like fishing. Simple steps to avoid being phished - Sophos advice. - (See police)

Britannia music
http://www.Britanniamusic.co.uk
Online purchase of classical music CDs and cassettes. A "club". Caution advised as the rules and pricing policy mean you could spend more than you intend. Your minimum outlay will probably be about £90 over two years, but more if you buy bonus CDs. The quality of the music is good, but the CD information booklets with the introductory offers do not contain much supporting information. The CDs I have bought since have had better booklets.
